When Tanya started The Hat Chic, she did it out of need. 

I started the Hat Chic because I wanted to cheer on my two beautiful boys.
 The boys play sports and I wanted to look cute (this is ALWAYS important in my book).
I tried to buy a hat but couldn't find exactly what I wanted.  I'd find something for baseball but then needed something for basketball.  Then, it dawned on me - why not use my Fashion Merchandising degree and create my own?

I went into my craft room and came out with several hats.  I thought, "Why not share them with friends?"  and the rest is history.
