Providing for our Furbabies, Accidental Injury and Illness Insurance for your Pet.

When it comes to our pets, you worry about their health too.  When providing for our furbabies, it is good to look at accidental Injury and Illness insurance.   My family and I were so lucky to find Sugar 8 years ago at a rescue.  She is such a loving companion and so good with my son.  She was a wonderful addition to our Faribault home.  We have been so lucky she is so healthy but I always worry about her, especially since she can’t tell me she’s not feeling good.  We go for her regular check ups and hopefully she always stays health.

Share the road with motorcycles in Southern Minnesota

Share the Road with Motorcycles

They have the same rights and responsibilities as cars.

motorcycle in traffic
Per vehicle mile, motorcyclists are 30 times more likely to die and five times more likely to be injured in a crash than occupants of cars. Keep the following in mind as you drive your four-wheel vehicle.

  • Motorcycles are smaller and harder to spot. Larger vehicles can hide their presence, making them seem to come out of nowhere.

  • Allow a motorcyclist a full lane width. It may seem as if there is enough room for a car and a motorcycle, but looks can be deceiving. A motorcyclist needs the full lane to maneuver safely.

  • Motorcyclists can be hidden in your vehicle’s blind spot. Always check your mirrors and blind spots before switching lanes or making a turn.

  • Always signal your intentions before changing lanes or merging with traffic. This allows motorcyclists (and other vehicles) to anticipate your movement.

  • Allow more distance when following a motorcycle to give the cyclist time to maneuver or stop in an emergency.

  • Never pass in the same lane you’re sharing with a motorcycle.

  • Look carefully for motorcyclists (and other vehicles) before opening doors next to moving traffic.

  • Be aware that potholes, gravel, wet or slippery surfaces, pavement seams, etc., can cause motorcyclists to change speed or direction suddenly.
